Socks for Homeless Soles
LGBTQ Homelessness, and Homeless Pets
Last night I went to a fundraiser to benefit homeless lgbt youth and my heart was happy. I think this is what I'm meant to do, this is my purpose. I left there and did a sock distribution and ran into a homeless couple with their dog and cat, shelters are not dog/cat friendly and they are not willing to leave their pets and while talking to the girl she told me she has big dreams and that if she ever gets money someday, she is going to buy "that big building across the street" and rent out every other apartment, but the ones in between will be for the homeless and she will keep them there for a year and help them until they get a job and on their feet. She was awesome and I hope someday she can achieve that dream. Again I have to stress the fact they really express their gratitude for socks.
