Ernesto's Palace

I call this Ernesto's palace. They let him sleep there in the gym until the end of may. 10 cots inside. Clean and safe. Then we go to 31st street where living on a box on the hard concrete is their norm. And it breaks my heart every time and it always will. The good news tonight was we were looking for this particular woman and her husband who live on the steps on 31st because sometimes she likes a little piece of chocolate and we had this huge bunny. Tonight we found out they got an apartment. That makes my heart warm. I appreciate every little piece of my home and somehow when coming home from a sock run, material things are not that important. Thank you all for your continued support.
